World Diabetes Day Screening and 'Walk campaign


The campaign will promote the importance of affordable and equitable access for all women at risk for or living with diabetes to the essential diabetes medicines and technologies, self-management education and information they require to achieve optimal diabetes outcomes and strengthen their capacity to prevent type 2 diabetes (IDF). Value Health will be engaging women in physical activity while providing free screening to them.

This year Value Health Africa will be carrying out awareness and education on Diabetes in underserved communities (Specifically in MOMO Divion of Cameroon) with an aim to engage stake holders and other policy makers in the fight against this diseases. Through this program we will also be advocating for Insulin availability for Type 1 diabetes patients.

At the end of the event, we will engage politicians in Cameroon to commit to priotizing Diabetes and other NCDs durring decision making.
