Kyeng Mercy TETUH - Executive Director

Kyeng Mercy Tetuh is an Epidemiologist, a 2016 Mandela Washington fellow, a multi-awardee of global health advocacy. Her passion is reducing the burden of diseases in Africa through the advancement of health promotion activities, disease prevention, public health research and cost-effective disease management for all and at all ages. She has over 10 years of experience in the public health and community development sector in Africa. She has experience working for inter-governmental institutions like the African Union, regional bodies like the Eastern Regional collaborating centre, and also supporting local health system strengthening initiatives. Through her work with the Africa Union (AU) and Africa Center for Disease Control, she has been abale to support member states in outbreaks detection and response in Africa. Through her leadership Value Health Africa has been able to support over 200 Cameroon communities in improving early detection and management of infectious and non-infectious diseases. Her vision is an Africa with full universal health coverage for all and where no one dies of any preventable disease.
