International NASH Day 2021
What does NASH mean to you?
This silent killer which is gradually becoming the leading cause of death in patients suffering from diabetes, obesity, high cholesterol, and hypothyroidism has gained little recognition than it deserves, and as such little efforts are done to combat this disease. Although being highly preventable, NASH continues to affect millions of people worldwide. The greatest burden is seen in low-income countries where lack of knowledge, expertise, and diagnostic equipment have masked the reality and burden of the disease thus giving no public Health attention to it.
VAHA partners with Global Liver Institute to raise awareness about this disease and to discuss new trends of diagnoses, management, and eradication. Follow our page from the 1st of June to know more about this disease and to see how you can participate in the fight against NASH.
